 2. Are there any ongoing costs?

A. No ongoing costs – only a once-off admin fee, payable to Lay-Buys. The amount depends on the order value.

 3. Are there any interest charges?

A. No interest charges ever

 4. Are there any late fees?

A. No late fees ever

 5. Is it flexible?

A. Yes, you can payout balance at any time and take an earlier delivery. You need to simply contact us. You will then receive an email from us with an embedded payment link for payment of balance in PayPal – and an earlier delivery.

 6. When do I receive the goods?

A. After the final instalment payment.

 7. How are Lay-Buy instalment payments paid?

A. Lay-Buy instalment payments are auto-paid from your linked card in your PayPal setup.

 8. How do I ensure all Lay-Buy instalment payments are paid?

A. You need to ensure there is always funds available and correct card is linked in your PayPal account.

  • Login to your PayPal account

  • Click ‘settings’

  • Click ‘payments’

  • Click ‘manage automatic payments’

  • Click ‘set available funding sources’

You will then see the credit card and/or bank card that’s linked to your a/c setup.
You need to ensure the correct card is residing here, and select for the recurring payments to work.

 9. Can I manually make payments towards my Lay-Buy order?

A. No – all Lay-buy payments are automated via a recurring profile in your PayPal setup. You can settle your balance at any time.

10. How do I settle a LAY-BUY earlier?

A. You need to contact us to revise the payment plan. You cannot revise it yourself. You need to simply contact us. You will then receive an email from us with an embedded payment link for your payment of balance in PayPal – and an earlier delivery.

11. What happens if a payment is missed?

A. PayPal will then auto attempt again in 5 days, two more times – please ensure you have sufficient funds, and have the correct card linked in your PayPal setup.

12. Will I be told about a missed Payment?

A. Yes, PayPal sends out an email notification to both parties involved.

13. How do I catch up a missed payment?

A. We will invoice you for any missed payments.

14. Can I see my payment plan?

A. Yes, you can login to your PayPal account – go to settings >> payments >> pre-approved payments.

15. Why do PayPal auto-cancel a payment plan?

A. PayPal auto-cancels a profile if they cannot link the recurring payments to a card in your PayPal setup. And they then have to unfortunately cancel the plan. These are the steps you need to follow to rectify your setup and link the correct card.

You will then see the credit card and/or bank card that is linked to your a/c setup. You need to ensure the correct card is residing here and select for the recurring payments to work. Then you can then try to place order again – and this next time, the plan will not be auto-cancelled.
